GP38-2 Locomotive NOW Available for Sale
The EMD GP38-2 Locomotive has a 4-axel diesel electric 16-645 prime mover providing 2000 house power. Making this the perfect locomotive for switching operations as well as long haul moves. This type of locomotive was built by General Motors, Electro-Motive Devision as a powerful switcher. Part of the EMD Dash 2 line, the GP38-2 is an upgrade version of the GP38. Photos are representative photos, and not the actual GP38-2 available.
Production of the GP38-2 took place from the mid 1970’s to early 1980’s… Providing easy maintenance and exceptional reliability for its operators.
