Juni 22, 2026Diesel Multiple Unit 628-4 for sale
The two-part multiple units of the 628.4 class each consist of a power car and a control car. These are a more strongly motorised variant of the predecessor 628.0 to 628.2 class, which were developed in the mid-1970s but only went into class production in 1986. The VT 628 can be found almost everywhere in Germany, mostly as regional trains (RegionalBahn, RB). Two multi-purpose compartments with spaces for wheelchair users, prams or bicycles at the relevant ends of the multiple unit, a toilet facility in the centre of the multiple unit and ventilated passenger compartments are all part of the basic equipment of the 628 class. With a diesel-hydraulic drive producing a continuous output of 485 kW, the 628.4 achieves a top speed of up to 120 kilometres per hour. The VT 628 can be coupled in multiple.
